I thought I should take a little time to talk about sniper sites. This isn't the most common term used within the internet marketing community, but it is essentially a site that is small in size, easy to rank and can make cash pretty fast. There is a very simple philosophy to follow when you do this and it is volume. Instead of trying to create one big profitable site, try to make a lot of little sites that make a little bit of money each month. Think of it this way, if a site makes just $2 per day, that will make you around $60/mth. We're not talking about a lot of money here and that obviously won't help you pay the bills. Imagine having a hundred of these little sites. It starts to add up and you can make a decent living.
I know a lot of people are going to say that having a hundred websites is a lot of work and is going to require a lot of time just to maintain it. That simple isn't true. When you create sites that rank easily and don't have much competition, you really don't have to do that much work to keep them high up in the search engines. All you have to do is add a page of content every now and then. Build a link or two whenever you feel like it.
There is a lot of low hanging fruit out there when it comes to keywords. Low hanging that it is untapped and gets a decent amount of searches each month. You need to stop wasting your time working month after month trying to get competitive keywords to rank. I have sites that literally indexed in the top 10 of Google in only about an hour of putting up content on it. And we're not talking about weak keywords. I've ranked that fast for keywords that get around 10,000 searches a month.
So to answer the question, snipers can make you money if you do it in volume. If you go after the low hanging fruit, you don't have as much work to do to rank. The less time you have to spend building links, the more time you can spend putting up sniper sites that create instant cash online in your Adsense or affiliate account.
